Aston Route: plan and log visits

Aston Route plans your reps' visits to customers and prospects and records what happened. Owners and managers plan; reps work their route from the phone.

1. Add your places

  1. Open Aston Route › Places.
  2. Import CSV: a file from your accounting or CRM system with the company name and address (English or Chinese column names both work), or add a place by hand.
  3. Customers are added to your never-contact list at once, so Aston Link never cold-emails them.
  4. On a lead that replied, press “Add to visits” to make it a prospect to visit.

2. Plan a day

  1. Open Plan, pick the day and the rep, and optionally a start address (your office).
  2. Tick places in the list (filter by type or area), or draw a circle on the map and pick the places inside.
  3. Press Optimise for the shortest order, or move stops up and down by hand.
  4. Press Publish: the rep is told and sees the route under Today.

3. On the road

  1. Open Aston Route › Today on the phone (add Aston Link to the home screen for one tap).
  2. Navigate opens Google Maps with directions; Check in when you arrive.
  3. Done records what happened, a note and, if needed, a follow-up date. Skip if you can't go.
  4. Found a new place on the way? “Found on the road” adds it as your next stop.

4. Follow-ups and the manager view

  1. Follow-ups due show at the top of Today and in the bell on their day.
  2. Each place and each lead page shows its visit history.
  3. Team shows every rep's route for a day: done, skipped and left; a stop can be given to another rep.

Companies whose name and address came from Google Maps are listed with a link to Google Maps instead of being placed on our map; once their own website shows the address, they go on the map too.
