About 2 minutes. Google needs an app password: a separate 16-letter password just for Aston Link. Your normal password is never used. One-click “Sign in with Google” is coming once Google has reviewed our app.

Steps

1. Turn on 2-Step Verification for your Google account (skip this if it's already on).
2. Open the App passwords page, type “Aston Link” as the name and press Create.
3. Google shows a 16-letter password in four groups. Copy it.
4. Paste it into Aston Link and press Connect. Aston Link checks sending and reading replies right away.
